About BRAZILIAN QUARTET
The Brazilian Quartet was formed by four friends who had previously performed and recorded together in various configurations
over the years. This is their new project, specializing in Brazilian repertoire, both traditional and conteporary. The music
includes Bossa Nova, samba, Baiao, and Brazilian Pop, while featuring music by composers such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, Caetano
Veloso, Jorge Ben Jor, Luiz Gonzaga Jr., and many more! The performance will mix instrumental tunes and vocal tunes sung in
both Portuguese and Spanish.
THE MUSICIANS
DAN KENDALL - guitarist-bassist-vocalist-composer: Astoria resident, was on the honor roll twice in the fifth grade.

ANTHONY LANNI - guitarist: Often mistakenly credited for a famous spaghetti commercial. Accomplishments:
Got good grades, but tripped a lot. Nationality: AwesomeLand.
MIKE SAPIRSTEIN - saxophonist: Placed first in fourth grade dance competition - performing to "Centerfold" by the j.
geil's band. Recent accomplishments: n/a
DAVID MARTINEZ - percussionist/drummer: David feeds the band delicious Spanish cheese, chorizo, and wine at rehearsals.
